In a nutshell my team and I are responsible for the logged out pages with a mission to attract new customers.
Practically this has meant a huge variety of tasks but the core of our mission is building the new web app for all logged out pages.
This includes all existing markets as well as new expansions including but not limited to: United States, Poland, the Baltic states and United Kingdom.
Started as a consultancy gig which turned into a full time employment as I became key in the migration work of moving from an outdated tech stack to a modern SSR web app.
In addition, I got the opportunity to create hitta-components: a component library widely used across the app.
This was my first place of employment as a developer, a consultancy firm that specialize in frontend development. Many educational efforts were done here i.e. hosting various meetups and organizing monthly workshops where we got to explore bleeding edge web tech.
This gave me an understanding of the vastness of web development and a chance to dip my toes in numerous tools and strategies that one can adapt early on in my career.
While I attended the Digital Data Strategy program I was first introduced to web development which caught my interest completely. So much so that I focused almost exclusively on javascript and ignored the digital data stuff I was supposed to learn.
I have since then returned to Hyper Island as a guest lecturer for the Frontend Developer program.

It uses the unofficial reddit JSON API and is built in Svelte.
This was built with Gatsby and graphql on the frontend, backed by an Express REST API with MongoDB.
I also built a price scanner that I hosted on a raspberry pi, which updated each price a couple of times a day, which automatically regenerated the static pages if it detected any price change.
Note: This project isn’t maintained anymore so expect dead links and outdated information.
This is a drum machine heavily utilizing the AudioContext API to preload, cache, modify and analyze the sound output from the users drumming.
